Ruger American Rimfire Compact

The Ruger American Rimfire Compact is a bolt-action rifle chambered in .22 LR with an 18 inch threaded barrel and 10+1 capacity. It uses a lightweight black synthetic compact stock with two interchangeable stock modules so comb height can be set for scope or iron sight use. A flush-mounted BX-1 10-round rotary magazine, Ruger Marksman Adjustable trigger, and tang safety make it a practical compact rimfire for smaller-framed shooters and field use.

Power Bedding locates the receiver and free-floats the cold hammer-forged barrel for consistent accuracy. The barrel is threaded 1/2x28 and ships with a factory thread protector. Williams fiber optic front and adjustable rear sights are included, and a 3/8 inch rimfire scope base is machined into the receiver, which is also drilled and tapped for Weaver #12 bases.

The 60 degree bolt throw leaves room for a scope, and the receiver-mounted bolt release lets the bolt come out without pulling the trigger. An extended magazine release and compatibility with Ruger 10/22 magazines add flexibility. At 35.75 inches overall, 12.50 inches length of pull, and 5.3 lbs, the American Rimfire Compact is suited to small game, training, and range use.
