Description

Used Beretta 86 "Cheetah" in very nice condition. Among the rarest of the classic .380 Beretta models, the 86 features a tip-up barrel system actuated by a lever on the right side of the pistol much like the smaller Jetfire and Tomcat, allowing the user to skip cycling the slide and place a round directly into the chamber. Otherwise, this pistol is a standard 81-series pistol, and takes the same single stack .380 ACP magazines as the 85. Condition is very nice. A small amount of scuffing is visible on the very bottom of the original wood grips but otherwise pistol is free of wear. Metal surfaces are as-new and very clean (some wear is present under the tip-up lever). Action is as-new. Includes two magazines, a set of replacement pins, original 81-series manual, and a cleaning brush. Comes in the original rectangular blue plastic Beretta box which itself is free of damage. This is a highly desired little pistol and perhaps the coolest of the Cheetahs; while the other models still see occasional production runs, the 86 has been out of production for years and makes for both a great part of any collection of European handguns and a highly practical pistol for people with reduced grip strength.
