Bergara Premier Series Stalker

The Bergara Premier Series Stalker is a hand built bolt action hunting rifle chambered in .300 Winchester Magnum. It pairs a 24 inch No. 3 taper 416 stainless Bergara barrel with a one piece carbon fiber stock and the Premier action. Built for mountain and big game work, it is meant to stay light and rigid without giving up production barrel accuracy.

The Premier action uses a non rotating gas shield, coned bolt nose, sliding plate extractor, and two locking lugs on the front of the bolt head. A one piece stainless bolt body, 90 degree bolt throw, and nitrided bolt head, handle, and shroud keep the action smooth. A Timney 510 curved trigger and two position safety let you unload while the rifle is on safe. The receiver is drilled and tapped for Remington 700 style rings and bases.

This Stalker is well suited to elk, moose, and other .300 Winchester Magnum hunts where a light carbon stock and a 24 inch barrel matter. The hinged floor plate holds 3+1 rounds, and the one piece carbon fiber stock avoids the bonded two piece layout found on many other carbon stocks.
